Day #4 Morning Report

Buenos Aires 2018 YOG

Day four of sailing at the Youth Olympic Games at Club Nautico San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina will see another full schedule of racing.

Girl’s and Boy’s Windsurfing (Techno 293+) will be competing on what was initially a reserve day, beginning with fleet racing with the potential to change to slalom racing if the wind reaches over 12 knots.

Girl’s and Boy’s Kiteboarding will begin by continuing with elimination races, while the Mixed Nacra 15 fleet are scheduled to complete another four races.

Wind conditions are not expected to be as strong as yesterday, but will be better than Monday.

Midday will see between 6-11 knots, with a general level of around 7-10 knots expected by 2pm, in a southerly direction veering south east. There will be a higher water level than previous days and the current will travel downstream until around 4pm.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

Girl’s Windsurfer: 12:00 Warning (Area A)
Three races scheduled

Boy’s Kiteboard: 12:10 Warning (Area D)
Four races scheduled

Mixed Multihull: 12:00 Warning (Area B)
Four races scheduled

Boy’s Windsurfer: 12:10 Warning (Area A)
Three races scheduled

Girl’s Kiteboard: 12:12 Warning (Area D)
Four races scheduled
